Cost
Air conditioning costs: installation, power and servicing
The short answer
GetAirco air conditioning starts at €1,999 with standard installation. Add any extra installation work, electricity and servicing to your overall budget. The number of rooms and chosen models determine the system and final price for your home.
Which costs are one-off and which are ongoing?
| Cost | What to check |
|---|---|
| Equipment and installation | Indoor and outdoor units, mounting and commissioning. Check what standard installation includes. |
| Additional work | For example, longer pipes, concrete drilling, a pump or new electrics. |
| Electricity | Actual electrical input × operating hours × your tariff. |
| Servicing | Agree which checks and cleaning are included, and how often. |
What does summer cooling cost in an example?
Assume an average electrical input of 0.6 kW, 5 hours per day, 60 days and €0.30 per kWh. Consumption is 180 kWh and electricity costs €54. This is a calculation with chosen assumptions, not a forecast for a model or home.
If you also use AC for heating, calculate that separately. Use your own tariff and measured consumption once available.

Follow the manual for filter cleaning. Discuss professional servicing based on the model, use and surroundings. Clarify whether call-out charges, extra indoor units and fault repairs are included.

View servicing options and pricesHow do you compare offers fairly?
- Compare the same rooms and exact indoor and outdoor units.
- Check pipe length, working height, drainage and electrics.
- Ask for a total including VAT and specified additional work.
- Consider annual costs alongside purchase price, without assuming fixed savings.
More questions
Is the starting price for my whole house?
No. It is an entry price for AC with standard installation. Several rooms or a different installation require a tailored calculation.
Is the cheapest AC also cheapest in the long run?
Not necessarily. Compare installed cost, suitability, consumption and servicing. A more expensive model does not automatically pay for itself either.
