Single-split ACOne room, from €1,699

The most popular type of AC: one outdoor unit + one indoor unit for one room. Cooling in summer, heating in winter. From €1,699 including installation.

What is a single-split AC?

A single-split AC consists of two parts: an outdoor unit (the compressor) installed against your exterior wall, and one indoor unit inside the room. Connected by a slim refrigerant pipe that goes through the wall.

Single-split is the simplest, most affordable and most popular choice. Ideal for one room — your living room, bedroom, home office, conservatory or attic.

Frequently asked questions

What is a single-split AC?+

A single-split has one outdoor unit connected to one indoor unit. Ideal for cooling and heating one room. The simplest and most affordable type of AC.

Can a single-split also heat the room?+

Yes. All modern single-split systems work as an air-to-air heat pump and deliver up to 5 kWh of heat per 1 kWh of electricity.

How long does the installation take?+

Typically 4–5 hours. We come in the morning and the AC is working by the afternoon.

How noisy is a single-split?+

Indoor unit from 19 dB (quieter than whispering). Outdoor unit around 46–50 dB at full load.

When is multi-split a better choice?+

If you want 2 or more rooms cooled, multi-split is more efficient and aesthetic — only one outdoor unit instead of multiple.
